And so its a silver.
well. it wasnt that expected, thought there'll be at least a gold.
i cried immediately after i know the results. so did FY.
some found it foolish for me to cry because i wasnt even participating in it.
but hey, its just really that passion and devotion to chinese dance that we had.
the results were of course disappointing, i cant deny.
i chose not to reply those smses that said abt the results.
i guess everyone needs time to calm down.
now looking back at 2 years ago, i really miss performing and feeling so anxious and excited abt getting of results.
2007. it was a combined syf with gym.
i rmb how much we hated to do sf with them because they're so good with their technical skills such that they make
chinese dancers look like vases, just for show, just because it is chinese dance syf.
we got gold. it was quite expected. so it was alright.
Then came 2009.
Chinese dance finally can compete in syf alone. without the gymmers.
finall we're able to break the tradition.
we worked hard, knowing now that we can only depend on ourselves and no one else.
but our technical skills suck big time.
nonetheless, i was glad for the fact that the dance was cheorographed to suit vivienne and i, such that we can put emotions into good use instead of our very mediocre skills.
GOLD WITH HONOURS. we've NEVER expected that.
it came as a shock. really.
I rmb crying after every single practise when nearing the day itself tgth with vivienne, fearing so much that we'll drop to silver.
but wow, we were really lucky.
2011. not being a performer for syf just felt weird.
watching our juniors dur practises made me realised how impt chi dance is to me really.
well. i believe they did try their best. we still have to accept the hardcore fact that we got silver anyway.
truly disappointed.
then again, what matters most is them not letting themselves down, and nt the seniors.
how i wish i was there when results were announced. i didnt even felt like gng for life con. it was just saddening. but luckily, life con did make things better for me, glad for those classmates i have man heh. :)
oh one thing to say, though i didnt go life con with council and i felt like theres smth missing, but hey i think if i went with council, i wont be happy too.
i really have a love-hate r/s with council now. and its kinda getting too serious.
i love doing all the jobs, things services events etc, but i really. dislike the clique in council.
not sure if i'm the only one who feels this way, but its so kind of breaking council apart.
it was such a backfired plan of his.
take today as example. those 33rd that went are like what? 10? and its all that clique!
the rest of 33rd, most are with classmates/og mates.
idk if i'm right but i'm just gna say it,
i believe like almost 3/4 of the council hates that clique.
its just so. disturbing. OH plus the Hof of 34th is joining them in too.
i sincerely hope he wont be like his predecessor. really.
